JAQUELIN PERRY

Jaquelin Perry was born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina in 1955 and raised on the coast of North Carolina in a large family. Her mother was a well-known, respected painter; however, Jaquelin did not begin to paint until she was at home with her children.

"I feel so blessed to live in beautiful eastern North Carolina," she says. "Everywhere I look there are endless possibilities for new paintings. I am not trying to make any great statements with my paintings, but hope they are exclamations of happiness and expressions of appreciation for our beautiful landscape. Painting gives me such instant gratification. Much of my life is dictated by my paintings."
