Limited Edition Giclees
John Silver has chosen an American Art Publisher to produce his Limited Edition Giclees. The publisher uses the highest quality media available to produce an incredibly detailed reproduction that is capable of maintaining a light-fastness rating up to 200 years under museum archival conditions.
Giclees should be handled as you would an original work of art; avoid direct sunlight and moisture. If the giclee is printed on canvas, frame as you would an original oil painting. If the giclee is printed on paper, we recommend using archival matting and UV glass for the framing. If cared for properly, these giclees will be enjoyed for generations.
Giclee (zhee-clay) as a fine art term refers to an individually produced, high resolution reproduction of an original work of art using fade-resistant archival inks, archival canvas or paper and the ink jet printer.
Limited Editions: The giclee will be signed and numbered by John. Only 100 will be printed of a specific size of the original painting. The giclees on canvas will be available un-stretched, stretched ready to frame or framed with a plein air style moulding. The giclees on paper will be matted with a single white mat. Upon request, a certificate of authenticity will be available for the giclee.
Customize Giclees: A specific size can be produced for a one time only printing and it will be signed and dated by John.
